Get certified to administer. According to section 465.189, Florida’s statutory reporting requirement, licensed pharmacists may now administer influenza vaccines to adults. Pharmacists must be certified pursuant to a certification program approved by the Florida Department of Health's Board of Pharmacy prior to administering these vaccines.

Already administering vaccines? Certified pharmacies that provide adult influenza vaccinations are required to enter those shot records in the Florida SHOTS registry.
